The Art of Positive Rejection

You reach out to someone for help.

They reject you.

The most powerful thing you can do?

Say this to yourself:

"They're dealing with something tough."

It's not the first thing I think when getting denied help.

But once I remember it? Game changing.

Because it's true.

If someone is unwilling to give you their energy, it's because they need it.

● They need to guard it, for now.

● It has nothing to do with you.

● They're dealing with stuff.

Remind yourself of that, and you'll feel the appropriate responses:

● Compassion

● Resilience

● Patience

Old self talk: "WTF is they're problem (with me)?"

New self talk: "They're dealing with something tough."

May your self talk lift you up and keep you going strong,
